NJORD the Norse God of wind could not stop this awesome adventure!

So our day started with a text while in route to kayak tour that said high winds likely would you like to cancel or switch to another day! Responded No we want to kayak! Now a lot of places I have been would have force canceled but not COA! Mad props to this amazing company! We had a great time on a cooling evening with our amazing guide KATIE!! She was informative, fun, and very professional. We not only learned so much about the area we live as we are natives but seen a beached shrimp boat, oyster beds, and yes dolphins. We had the opportunity to learn about the marsh mud and it ability to smooth skin😉. The mud in the area has low oxygen creating a level of suction only beaten by the Kardashians. We highly recommend Charleston outdoor activities if you plan on taking a kayak tour or any tour for that matter! Located on beautiful Bowen Island with panoramic views of the waterways you won't be disappointed! Until next time... thanks COA!

Ryan was our guide, very very good knowledge and explanation of ecology and habituate of the estuary. Kayaking was fun but a bit slow at time and it felt like we could have covered more territory but other than that , good fun family activity
